From Fox News comes The View's co-host Sunny Hostin's attempt to shame Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) for his vote stop the shut down of the US Senate. After Sunny Hostin made the cute comment about Fetterman bringing "a butter knife to a gunfight," he promptly put her in her place.
"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin pressed Sen. John Fetterman, D-PA, on Tuesday on why he voted to end the government shutdown, accusing him of bringing "a butter knife to a gunfight."
Hostin quoted Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT., and Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-CA, who both criticized the decision by eight senators to vote to end the shutdown. She also said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA., "blamed the GOP."
"As you mentioned, Democrats had big wins last week, so you had momentum. Why give in now? Why bring a butter knife to a gunfight?
Sen. John Fetterman responded in kind and put The View host in her place. Who would have thought years back when Fetterman first ran for Senate following his stroke that he would have been so quick witted and able to think nimbly on his feet.
