Senator Proposes School Safety Bill

(Dover, DE)  --  One lawmaker is proposing setting aside 65-million to protect schools.  State Senator Dave Lawson unveiled the Omnibus School Safety Fund Act yesterday.  It would set aside money to install bulletproof glass, key card entrances, metal detectors, cameras and other security measures to schools that apply.  In order to be eligible, schools would have to hire two armed security guards.
