Time is running out for the owner of a 50-thousand dollar Powerball ticket to collect the cash. The winning ticket was sold last May 24th at the Sunoco at Delaware House Travel Plaza along I-95. Lottery officials say winners only have a year to collect their prize, meaning the deadline is next Thursday. Since the Powerball is worth more than five-thousand dollars, it must be collected at the lottery offices in Dover.
