Redevelopment of nine vacant and boarded up properties in downtown Dover is beginning. Demolition begins today on five buildings on North Kirkwood Street, two on South Queen and two others on South Kirkwood. NCALL was awarded money from Strong Neighborhoods Housing Funds to redevelop the blighted properties in an effort to revitalize the area. The lots will eventually be sold to home-buyers.
