Meals On Wheels Program Facing Funding Shortfall

People who depend on Meals on Wheels for food could soon face a shortage.  The Division of Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities has told the state's nutrition providers that they are facing a potential state budget shortfall of 840-thousand-dollars for the program in Delaware.  That could mean the elimination of 100-thousand meals for 400 seniors.  Senior centers, nutrition providers, and their recipients have been appealing to their state legislators to save the funding.
