The full House is set to consider a ban on large-capacity gun magazines. A House committee advanced a bill yesterday that would place a magazine limit of 17 rounds of ammunition. It would also prohibit the buying and selling of large capacity magazines. Larger magazines would still be allowed at shooting ranges. Police officers, members of the military acting in an official capacity and those with concealed carry permits would be exempt.
