A man is injured after an elevator fell several feet in a downtown Wilmington building. Officials say the man was in the elevator of an office building in the 800 block of North King Street when it fell more than six feet before coming to a stop between the first floor and basement. The man was lifted out of the elevator in a stokes basket and taken to the hospital.
