The Delaware River Basin Commission is reviewing input on a proposed fracking ban in the Delaware River Basin. The DRBC says they received more than eight-thousand submissions of comments. However, a coalition of environmental groups say they submitted over 40-thousand comments collectively supporting a full ban. Draft regulations proposed in November 2017 would ban fracking but allow wastewater storage, discharges and processing linked to the drilling. The DRBC says the comments will help them in deciding how to move forward with the ban.
