Visitors could pay a little bit more to rent properties in Dewey Beach. Officials are considering raising their accommodations tax by one or two percent to generate more money for the town. The beach currently has a three-percent tax on rental properties. The council hasn't made a decision, but says discussions will continue with a possible referendum on the topic in September.
