A new report is out on Mountaire Farms' wastewater violations. The Center for the Inland Bay found the poultry plant has a history of contaminating water with no penalties. The report also says waters of wells, Swan Creek and the Indian River are being impacted by high levels of nitrates. The center formed a committee to investigate the issues at the Millsboro plant in January after regulators issued a groundwater pollution violation notice to the facility. Mountaire Farms responded to the report saying "couldn't be further from the truth."
