Speaking on ‘America Now’ Wednesday, host Buck Sexton slammed the “tainted” Mueller investigation into Russian election interference, saying the special counsel’s probe was staffed by “left-wing partisans” determined to take-down President Trump at any cost.
“At some point, we have to ask the question, ‘When is it too much?’” asked Buck. “This is clearly a tainted investigation that had –from its beginnings- partisans engaged in a political hit against the President of the United States. We have a lot of evidence for it.”
“There’s the very real possibility that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC paid for completely unverified -and in many cases false- allegations, innuendos, smears, rumors about President Trump in this dossier, and then that opposition research was used as the basis for an ongoing counter-intelligence investigation,” he added.
“That would be a grotesque abuse of power, especially when you’re talking about a Presidential campaign,” Sexton said.
“That is not yet entirely proven, but that is a narrative of events that is looking increasingly likely to be true,” he added. “I don’t think the media could ever recover from it. I don’t think any honest person could look at what happened with the Fusion GPS, Russia collusion investigation and say anything other than the media was engaged in a coup-by-propaganda.”
