Lewis Hamilton Getting Backlash After Mocking Nephew For Wearing Dress

Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is accused of reinforcing gender stereotypes.  The 32-year-old posted a video on his Instagram story Christmas Day mocking his nephew for waving around a toy wand while wearing a pink and purple dress.  In the clip, he says "I'm so sad right now," and "boys don't wear princess dresses."  It was later deleted, but has been widely circulating on Twitter and other social media platforms.

He then apologized in a series of tweets, saying he did not mean to offend anyone, and that he loves that his nephew "feels free to express himself as we all should."
