Wilmington Grand Prix To Include Road Closures

There will be a lot of cyclists on the road in Wilmington.  The 12th annual Wilmington Grand Prix kicks off today and will extend throughout the weekend.  The race is set to start tonight at 5:00 with the Monkey Hill Time Trial in Brandywine Park.  Road closures will be in effect from 3:30-8 p.m. on 18th Street from North Van Buren Street to North Boom, Lovering Avenue from DuPont Street to North Van Buren Street and Park Drives North and South.  Most of downtown will be sectioned off on Saturday as well.  A full list of closures can be found on the event website.
