The Wilmington Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the parent of a found child. The child is a black male, with braided hair, approximately 2 years of age and was found wondering in the area of 5th and Lombard Street at approximately 9:11 a.m. today. The child is wearing a red t- shirt, black pants and red timberland shoes. The child is in good health and safe at police headquarters. Anyone with information on the identity of the child or the whereabouts of his family is asked to call the Wilmington Police Department at 302-654-5151, or 302-576-3162.
